Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! We often arrive at therapy carrying a heavy burden and it is my priority to create a therapeutic space that feels comfortable and safe to work through your needs while infusing a little bit of humor and creativity along the way. I strive to utilize a strengths-based approach that values clients as collaborative partners in their treatment with respect to their lived experience and inherent ability to grow and heal. I practice from a holistic perspective with careful consideration to each client's relationship with themselves, others, and their environments. With this holistic view in mind, I provide an individualized treatment approach drawing from areas like attachment theory, neuroscience, narrative work, and trauma responsive practices.
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with my Master's degree in Social Work and a Master's Level Certificate in Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice. I am currently an LICSW Candidate working under the supervision of Katie Maskowitz, LICSW. I have experience working with children and families who are experiencing a wide variety of psychosocial stressors in the home, school, and medical settings. I primarily see young children but have experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan. I have special interest in the treatment of trauma, relationship issues, parenting, self-esteem, and shame across the lifespan. I also have specialized training in Child Parent Psychotherapy and TF-CBT to support families and children from birth to 18 in navigating traumatic experiences and stressors.
