As a therapist, I’m not into making something a problem that frankly, for you, just isn’t. Throughout the therapeutic process, you can expect to gain insight, strategies, and implementation (i.e. homework… I know, I know, I heard that groan). The implementation is so important. After all, if you don’t change what you do in your everyday life, how will your life change by coming to see me whenever you do? I work with adult individuals and couples and implement strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy, Internal family systems, emotionally focused therapy and strategies from John and Julie Gottman (to name a few).  Read More

I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) clinician with experience working with clients who have serious emotional disturbances, substance use, and life-changing events. I implement a strength-based approach and make use of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy techniques. My therapeutic style is non-judgmental and person-centered, taking into consideration the client’s personality, stage of life, and cultural background. I also work on acceptance and active listening, creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of El Turabo (Ana G. Mendez)  in Puerto Rico. Shortly after, I started working as an outpatient clinician in Massachusetts, providing services in English and Spanish to clients of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds. I am currently working under supervision as an LCMHC candidate in the state of New Hampshire. Read More

Hi, I’m Tom Perlet.  I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in therapeutic work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I began working with children, adolescents, and their families in 2002 as a Direct Care staff at Wediko Children’s Services’ therapeutic summer camp in Windsor, NH.  Since those days on Black Pond, I have worked in many different treatment settings including residential treatment, school-based treatment, group homes, in-home therapy, and traditional outpatient therapy.  I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and have been an active treatment provider in this modality since 2016.  I come from a family of educators and have extensive experience supporting families through different school-related challenges.  I approach my work with an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and using that foundation to support clients in making changes in their lives.

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! We often arrive at therapy carrying a heavy burden and it is my priority to create a therapeutic space that feels comfortable and safe to work through your needs while infusing a little bit of humor and creativity along the way.  I strive to utilize a strengths-based approach that values clients as collaborative partners in their treatment with respect to their lived experience and inherent ability to grow and heal. I practice from a holistic perspective with careful consideration to each client's relationship with themselves, others, and their environments. With this holistic view in mind, I provide an individualized treatment approach drawing from areas like attachment theory, neuroscience, narrative work, and trauma responsive practices.  Read More

A mental health counselor is a professional who helps individuals, couples, and families navigate through various mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being. They provide support, guidance, and therapy to clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship problems, and more. As a mental health counselor, my primary goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and make positive changes in their lives. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, considering the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, set goals, and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and circumstances.   Read More

My goal as a therapist is to create a space that feels comfortable, compassionate, and safe for everyone I have the privilege of supporting. I remind my clients that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach when it comes to healing. This is your journey—and as your therapist, I’m here to listen, learn about your unique concerns, and collaborate with you to address them in a way that truly works for you.

I utilize a strengths-based approach and work alongside clients to meet their needs and therapeutic goals while integrating practical, daily coping skills. I also enjoy incorporating creative elements into therapy—such as art expression, humor, and mindfulness—when appropriate, because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.
