Please call the office at (603) 634-8822, or fill out the “Contact Us” form, located throughout website. If you do not reach us immediately by phone, please leave a message on the confidential voicemail with your contact information. You will typically receive a response within 1-2 business days.
We will be in touch with you to determine what services you may need, and will connect you to the therapist that will best help you meet those needs.
There will be paperwork for you to complete prior to the appointment. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant Electronic Medical Records program which allows you to easily access, review, and sign the documents via your computer, tablet, or Smartphone. We can assist you with these documents if you need help or have questions. Please feel free to ask the practice manager or your therapist any questions prior to signing.
You
have the option to hold your therapy sessions via Telehealth or in
the office. We will discuss your preference with you before the first
appointment.
First Appointment
You might feel nervous for the first appointment – that’s very common! Many times, people feel better immediately after the first session. It can help just to talk about the problem, and know that we here to help you.
During
the first appointment, in order to help us understand how we can help
you, your therapist will ask a lot of questions about you/your
child’s history and the issues that brought you to therapy. Some
of the questions may not apply to your situation, and that’s okay.
After the First Appointment
Your
therapist will share some thoughts with you about what your therapy
work might look like. If you choose to begin therapy, you will
decide together with your therapist about how often to meet- it may
be weekly, every other week, or less than that. Every client is
different, so we schedule appointments based on what makes sense for
you. Also, we may meet for a few months, several months,
or longer, depending on your needs. If you need referrals
to other providers at any time during evaluation or treatment, your
therapist will be happy to help you with this.
Payment Options
Fee-for-Service
Therapy is provided on a fee-for-service basis at $175 for 55 minutes, $150 for 45 minutes, or $100 for 30 minutes. Cash, check, or credit cards are
accepted. If you have questions about our fees, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Insurance
If you plan to use your insurance benefits to pay for therapy, please contact your insurance provider to ask about their coverage and policies for behavioral health services. Many insurance companies specify a limit on the number of sessions they will pay for, require that you obtain pre-authorization or approval before beginning therapy, and/or require that you meet a deductible or make a copay. These are only examples of common behavioral health policies- your own insurance company’s requirements may be different.
*We are in-network providers for the following insurance plans:*
Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United/Optum (including Health Plans Incorporated) Harvard Pilgrim), and Tufts.
If we are not a contracted provider for your insurance plan, you should contact your insurance company to find out whether you are eligible for out-of-network behavioral health coverage.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Appointments that are missed without 24-hour notice are subject to a missed-session fee.
